Jacob Oram, the man of the match award winner for Chennai Super Kings against Kolkata Knight Riders, praised Dhoni on his captaincy skills. He said, he is a cool person and never allowed pressure inside or outside the dressing room.
On his own performance, though he was relieved but not happy with his performance. He said, he has to bowl well by keeping a good line and length. He was expensive in the previous games, but took two wickets in successive balls to dismiss McCullum and Ponting.
On his plan for Knight Riders, he said no special plans. “My plan was to keep it tight and choke them so that they will make mistakes,” he said.
On the future of this tournament for Chennai, he said, “it is still far too early to tag any team as a favourite. There is still a long way to go in the league and we need to keep performing like we did tonight,” he said.
