Stephen Fleming has gone back to New Zealand to see his new born baby. The Chennai Super Kings opener who got his chance to play for Chennai after Hayden returned to Australia for the West Indies tour, scored 196 runs in 10 matches. Though he did not score in many matches, his experience definitely added value to Chennai team.
Chenni has entered the semi-finals by beating Hyderabad Deccan Chargers in the do or die match. Fleming will be missing an important match and crucial game for Chennai. If they beat once again Kings XI, he will also be missing the final game against Rajasthan Royals.
As per team management, there is no time to get a foreign replacement. So, it has decided to provide opportunity to the existing players.
