Yuvi lead KXI set the same target in the second encounter as well to MI but this time, Sachin's team reached the target in 16.2 overs with the loss of two wickets.
Chasing 120, Lee picked Jayasuriya caught at third man playing his favorite cut short of a short ball pitched on the off stump.
Rahane was trapped lbw off Chawla. Mumbai once again lost quick wickets and built self pressure.
Sachin and Bravo played superb innings to take MI past the target. Bravo reached his fifty in 35 balls which had 4 fours and 3 sixes.
Once again Sreesanth became the target for the batsmen. In his first over, he gave away 21 runs and moved the score from 14 in 4 overs to 35 in 5 overs. Bravo hit a four, six, a six, a four and a single with no run scored of the first ball.
At the end of 10 overs, MI were 72 for 2, requiring 46 in last 10. Tendulkar also opened up his shoulder and hit a six of turning delivery from Chawla.
Earlier, Kings XI were restricted for 119 with the highest partnership of 28 runs came for the 3rd wicket between Sohal and Sangakkara. Sohal top scored with 43 with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Katich and Pathan went for duck. Yuvaraj scoring 2 fours in his 12, consumed 18 balls for it.
Mota fell to Duminy caught by Harabhajan. He came down the track and hit over long on where Harbhajan took a fourth-attempt catch.
In the same over, Yuvaraj should not have tried to go against the bowler. With a wicket already lost in the over, he should have played calmly. He also came down the track to hit a six over long but the thick outside edge sent it straight to Bravo at point. Duminy's debut IPL going well for him.
End of 15 overs, KXI were 92 for 7. Malinga picked two wickets in the 18th over. He had Lee caught at long off and Chawla run out.
Harbhajan bowled a very good spell which put pressure on KXI to go against other bowlers and gift their wickets. His figures were 4-0-9-1
